Free and Paid
You can use thePlus.so without paying. The free plan keeps two widgets live at a time, there is no trial clock counting down, and every widget type is included rather than the good ones sitting behind payment. Two is usually enough to find out whether widgets suit the way you work before you decide anything.
What the limit actually is
A count, not a feature set and not a countdown. For a third widget you either replace one of the two or move up a plan. Deleting a widget frees its slot immediately.
What is on every plan
Every widget type. We do not lock a type behind payment and then show it to you greyed out. Free widgets carry a small badge in the corner; paid plans from Pro upward remove it.
One announcement feed embedded across twenty pages still counts as one widget. The limit is on widgets, not on embeds.
Current numbers are on the pricing page, and there is a one off lifetime option for people who would rather stop thinking about it. How free tiers differ between tools is in free Notion widgets.
How this compares
Pricing shape varies more than price across the category. Indify runs a subscription, Blocs sells a one off upgrade, Apption sits closer to a free directory, and several others cap the live count as we do.
Work out which shape fits before comparing numbers. A subscription is better value if you keep adding widgets and worse if you build three and forget about them, which is what most people actually do. The badge on free widgets is the other variable, and on a public page it is worth knowing which you are getting.
One thing the free plan does not limit is how many pages a widget appears on. Two widgets across fifty pages is still two widgets, which makes the free tier more generous than the number suggests for anyone reusing the same header everywhere.
