What Is thePlus.so
thePlus.so is a Notion widget tool. You build a widget here, copy the link it hands you, and paste that link into a Notion page as an embed. There is nothing to install and no extension to approve, and it renders the same in the browser, the desktop app and on a phone. Around 20,800+ widgets have been built this way by 9,200+ people.
What you can build
Text, image and image carousel, and announcement. The text widget also runs as a quote, a live clock, a visitor counter or a scrolling marquee, so one type covers more ground than the name suggests.
Why it works like this
A widget is a small page on our servers. Notion loads it inside your page the same way it loads a YouTube video or a Figma file, through the embed block that ships with Notion. Nothing about it is a plugin, because Notion has no plugins.
You edit the widget here, and every Notion page that embeds it updates. The Notion page itself never has to be touched again.
Where to start
Read what a Notion widget is if the idea is new, or go straight to adding one to a page for the four steps.
The name used to be NotionPlus. Same product, shorter name, and the old links still resolve.
Beyond Notion
A widget is a URL, so it renders anywhere that accepts an iframe embed. The same links work in Coda docs, WordPress posts, Google Sites pages, xTiles boards and Craft documents. Nothing changes on our side and nothing needs configuring on yours: build once, paste the link wherever it belongs. If you move workspaces later the widgets move with you rather than staying behind, which is not true of most things you build inside a single tool.
