20% off
Eid al-Adha
Twenty percent off for the days around Eid al-Adha.
Runs for 7 days. The code only works inside that window. The bar tracks how far through the year we are since the last one.
One browser notification on the day it opens, with the code. Nothing else, ever.
Four days of people in the same house
Eid is the week the family calendar actually matters: who is visiting whom, which day, what is being cooked. A shared page handles it better than a group chat, and one that looks made rather than default gets used.
The photos are the point
More photographs get taken in these few days than in most months. A carousel at the top of a family page, set to fade slowly, is the simplest way to keep them somewhere other than a phone.
A short window, a modest rate
Four days at twenty percent. It is the smaller of the two holiday discounts here, and we would rather say that plainly than dress it up.
What to actually build
Three things people make with this, and roughly how long each takes. All of them paste into a Notion page as an embed link.
A family photo carousel
Everyone's photos in one place, autoplaying on a shared page. Relatives open a link, nothing to install.
A who is where banner
Announcement widget at the top with the plan for the day. Edit it from your dashboard and the page updates.
A greeting in your own hand
One line in a handwritten font, tilted slightly. Reads like a note rather than a heading.
Not sure what a widget can do? The Text widget and the Image widget pages show the full set.

Questions
Is there an Eid al-Adha discount at thePlus.so?
Yes, twenty percent off with the code EIDALADHA, running for four days around Eid al-Adha.
Why do the dates change every year?
Eid al-Adha falls on the tenth of Dhu al-Hijjah in the Hijri calendar, which moves about eleven days earlier against the Gregorian calendar each year. This page works the next date out on its own.
Which discount is bigger, Ramadan or Eid al-Adha?
Ramadan is twenty five percent, Eid al-Adha is twenty. Black Friday in November is the deepest of the year at forty.
