Who is Atul Anand?
Notion Ambassador, consultant and template creator, Bhubaneswar, India. Known for the Notion4Creators template catalogue, most of it free, and the Notion x AI workshops he runs at offices and hackathons across India.
This page recognises Atul Anand for what they have contributed to the Notion community. It is written independently, it is not an endorsement, and it does not mean they use thePlus.so.
“I found his free Notion templates and now I want to know whether the person behind them is worth hiring, learning from, or copying.”
This page traces what Atul Anand has actually shipped: the template catalogue and how it is priced, the consulting practice he built on top of it, and the workshop schedule he keeps across Indian cities. Numbers he reports about himself are marked as his. There is no income breakdown here, because he has never published one anywhere we could verify.
On 20 February 2022 he posted a thread on X that opened with somebody else's money: "Notion creators are collectively making over $100k+ every month." The rest of it was a walkthrough of how to build and sell Notion templates, written by an account that had existed for thirteen months. Five months later he was back with sixteen Notion integrations most people had never switched on. The handle was @AtulACleaver, the location was Odisha, and the pattern was set early: work out how a thing is done, then publish the method for free.
The starting point, by his own account, was ordinary disorganisation. "Like most people, I tried to run everything from memory and a dozen half-used apps," he writes on his about page. Notion was where it held together, so he went further into it than the problem required and began publishing what he had built as templates other people could install. He says he had the template business running before he turned 19.
That gave him a base to build a second thing on. He collected every Notion certification, was made a Notion Ambassador, and turned the audience the free templates had earned into a consulting practice for founders and agencies. He now runs it from Bhubaneswar while finishing a computer science degree at KIIT, and spends much of the year in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurugram and Noida teaching rooms full of builders how to wire Notion and AI together.
The Notion4Creators catalogue was built for one kind of customer
He publishes as Atul | Notion4Creators, and the bio on his Notion Marketplace profile names the audience directly: creators and creative agencies who need somewhere to run their workflow. The catalogue reflects that. A Content Creation Hub covers the pipeline from capture to plan to produce to repurpose. There is a Creator CRM for handling brand deals, a TikTok Creator OS for planning and scripting short-form, a Creator Knowledge OS and a PARA Life OS both built on the PARA method, a Smart Finance Tracker, a Smart Goals Tracker, and a set of reflection journals. Seventeen templates sit on his Marketplace profile, filed under Personal Productivity, Creators and Freelance, and Notion flags the profile as a Recommended creator. One review on his own site, from a Gumroad verified purchase, says of the finance tracker: "Have been using this finance tracker for over a year now."
Giving most of it away was the distribution strategy
Every template pinned on his Notion Marketplace profile is free. On his own site the paid ones top out at $73 for the Content Creation Hub, with the Notion AI Starter Kit at $25, a guide to making template mockups that sell at $15, the Smart Finance Tracker at $9, and the Creator Knowledge OS at $5. Everything else, including a Notion AI Blog OS that runs an SEO blog end to end, is free. He puts the number of creators and businesses running on his templates at more than 100,000, a figure he reports himself and repeats across his site. The free tier is what makes that number possible, and it is also what feeds the consulting: people install a template, hit the edge of what a template can do, and come back with a workflow that needs designing.
He charges for the workflow and hands back the training
The consulting runs in four phases: audit the tools and habits, design the Notion workspace, wire AI into the specific places that remove real work, then train the team on it with Loom walkthroughs and a live Q and A after handoff. He calls the design principle the Anchor Method, and its first rule is to stay out of Notion at the start. His own framing is that most builds fail because they begin inside the tool before anyone is clear on what matters, which produces ten half-finished systems in place of one. He lists three engagements publicly: research operations for the market intelligence platform Haystack Insights, a full workspace for Eric Brown's BS&T agency that became a retainer, and AI agents plus an operations system for Orgo Chem, a chemical factory with more than a hundred staff. Reece Thompson of Haystack Insights is quoted on the site saying the rebuild saves the team at least five hours a week. He puts the client count at 20 and up.
A hackathon circuit, and a degree running in parallel
His speaking log for 2026 reads like a tour of Indian tech offices. A Notion workshop in Delhi in March, Notion Unlocked at the GFG office in April, a Notion x AI hackathon session in Bangalore and a Modern AI Stack showcase in Hyderabad within two days of each other at the end of May, a workshop in Noida and the NeuroX hackathon in Gurugram in June, then Cognitive Chaos at the Microsoft office in Noida on 25 July with an AI-native enterprise operating system as the Notion theme, and an AI Builder Workshop at the Paytm office in Noida the next day on building AI workers and multi-agent systems with Notion. That followed a GDG Nagpur session on Notion and AI in December 2025, and a Bangalore Notion meetup back in 2023 that Notion's COO attended. Alongside it he is writing a weekly newsletter called The Operator, one system torn down per issue with the template included, and shipping engineering projects under the same handle: NutriKart, which uses linear programming to fit a grocery basket to a budget and a set of health constraints, and Sourcely, a retrieval system that answers questions about uploaded PDFs with citations back to the source.
Why Atul Anand is on this list
In 2022, when selling Notion templates was still something people worked out privately, he published the method as a free thread and told the rest of the Notion community exactly how to start. He has kept that posture since: the majority of his catalogue costs nothing, including a full AI blog system, and the paid work subsidises it. The workshops matter as much. Running Notion and AI sessions at GDG Nagpur, in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurugram and Noida puts hands-on Notion teaching in front of Indian developer audiences in person, at their own events, and every attendee leaves with a template or guide they can use.
