Notion Widgets for Teams
Team pages want the boring widgets, and we mean that as a compliment. Nobody on a company wiki needs a rotating quote. Four things carry almost every internal homepage: an announcement feed for what changed, a notice strip for what is urgent, a button for the link that gets asked about weekly, and dividers so a three column layout stays readable.
The announcement feed
The one that pays for itself. Post once, and every page embedding it shows the update. Deploy notices, handover notes, the office being shut on Friday. One feed can sit on twenty pages, and you write the notice once.
The notice strip
A marquee across the top. It reads as urgent without eating a whole block, which suits the one thing everybody needs to see this week.
Buttons and navigation
Every team has one link that comes up weekly. Make it a button and the questions stop. An icon row near the top works as a navigation strip to the four or five pages that actually matter.
One announcement feed embedded across twenty pages still counts as a single widget on your plan. Worth knowing before anyone starts doing maths.

Teams that are not all on Notion
Plenty of teams keep the wiki in Notion and the public documentation somewhere else. Because a widget is a URL, the same announcement feed can sit on a Notion homepage, a WordPress support page and a Google Sites intranet at once, and you post to it once.
That is usually the moment widgets stop being decoration for a team and start being infrastructure. It also quietly ends the argument about which tool is the source of truth, because the notice lives in neither of them.
