Who is Fred?

The earliest dated trace of Fred's Notion work is that "Was ist Notion?" post from 9 January 2023. The weeks around it are a burst of reference writing: a guide to Notion icons, a walkthrough of the status bar with a free template attached, a piece on using the Notion API to automate tasks and projects, a roundup of 22 free Notion widgets, a list of 58 keyboard shortcuts for Windows, Linux and Mac, and a post titled "Notion DSGVO" arguing why German data protection rules did not worry him. Later entries take on formulas with a full formula collection, explain every block type, and in March 2023 he published one called "Darum solltest du aufhören Notion zu verwenden!", which is an argument for when the app is the wrong choice. NoCode.fit itself describes Fred and Philipp as certified NoCode and Notion consultants working with companies across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The template on his Notion Marketplace profile is Newsletter Wizard, listed as "an all-in-one Newsletter writing system that lets you craft, manage, organize and grow your newsletter from one place" and priced at 79 dollars. Around it, the Gumroad store carries the smaller pieces: a Newsletter Inspiration Pack, a Newsletter Resource Pack billed as a beginner stack, a Minimal Prioritization and Task Manager, a Simple Goal Tracker, and a free German OKR goal planner that pairs with the OKR post he wrote in November 2023. Before any of that, on 13 September 2022, he posted a thread on X listing ten sites and tools he thought Notion users should have bookmarked, among them Indify's widgets, Red Gregory's dividers and a searchable database of Notion tutorial videos.

One page on NoCode.fit under Fred's byline gathers sixteen German-language Notion templates, every one of them free. The collection covers an Eisenhower matrix task planner, a Haushaltsbuch for household budgeting, habit tracking, a travel organiser, fitness planning and reading lists. Several of them began life as their own posts, so the reasoning sits next to the duplicate link: the journal template has a write-up from 16 November 2023, the Getting Things Done setup one from 30 November 2023, and there is a separate piece rounding up six templates aimed at students. He teaches the same ground in long form as well. The link hub he keeps under the notionpunk handle points at a German Notion beginner course on Udemy, and his own site states that more than 2,000 people have taken his Notion courses.

The current work sits at notionmitfred.de under the line "Notion. Aber sinnvoll.", which is Notion done in a way that earns its keep. The channel description sets the same terms: business systems such as CRM, project management and team hubs, Notion AI and automation, and structure with a purpose instead of decorative setups. Videos land on a weekly rhythm. Between 26 March and 2 July 2026 the channel covered a free Notion CRM, a database build guide, four automations, the new Library feature, meeting transcription with Smart Meetings, and a plain comparison of the Free, Plus and Business plans. The free template he hands viewers is Solopreneur OS, a five-database lead-to-cash system with a Command Center start page, given away with no expiry. On 28 April 2026 he announced DocuPilot, a Chrome extension he built that turns a Notion database entry into a finished Word document on your own letterhead; it runs locally, so the customer data never leaves the machine. Alongside those he sells a Notion Autopilot course on automation and AI, and mails a weekly newsletter of templates and workflows.
